Lamella Separator Description
A lamella clarifier is a compact, high-efficiency sedimentation device designed to separate suspended solids from water. Compared to traditional settling tanks, these systems use inclined plates to maximize the effective surface area for sedimentation — without occupying large ground space.
Processes
The process is based on a simple and effective principle. As water flows upward between the inclined plates, particles settle on the plate surfaces. These solids then slide downward by gravity and collect at the tank bottom. Meanwhile, clear water rises and exits from the top.
